Saw three young white boys wearing hoodies...we first saw one on the roof of the CVS (in Charles Village) throwing the rocks at the bus. There was a group of us standing in front of my folk's barbershop and wWe shouted at him and he retreated. Then we saw him and two others on the roof of the brownstone that is next to CVS. There is a ladder that provides roof access from the brownstone to the CVS roof. One of the brothers crossed the street to confront them and they left the roof.

This happened a hour or two after the CVS in Mondawmin was torched.

So I see them going in and out of the store and cross the street to confront them. I tell them, " Look, I can't tell you to drop what you have in your hand, but you need to understand that your behavior puts all the Black businesses here in danger of being attacked." Three dudes stood there looking at me blankly for a minute. Then one mumbled something and they went on their way.

They hung back for five minutes or so and my man and I stood out in front of the store staring them down. We went back across the street...and not a minute later, they went back to looting.

Man, there's so many mixed feelings and things that are going on in this situation. We can argue the Chicken or the Egg. But in this case these kids and adults that were out there burning crap had no right to do so. Yes the system is jacked up, the police is messed up, the politics are oppressive, but this is not the way. tearing down your own resources is not the way.

The events have only made it easier for people to ignore the Gray murder and to focus on the burning, looting, stealing cars, throwing rocks at the police, etc. How many kids will be identified and tossed in to the evil justice system because of their actions?
