12789774, the fact that there is no "outrage" is a fault of Patriarchy.

people don't even label women as aggressors, or violent, or capable of force. THAT is a male driven narrative, because those are things we always have tried to attribute to ourselves, for CENTURIES.

So now when a story like this happens, our brains catch a "does not compute" error and the reaction is diffused because we haven't been battered with an onslaught of images and propaganda with a way of quantifying their actions. It gets seen as a victim vs victim face off instead of 2 aggressors.

Main stream media/society is operating under the umbrella of patriarchy, which is why women will be seen as defenseless and in need of saving. In all honesty, the proper reaction to this, in the realm of equality, would be disappointment in the unfortunate circumstance of all this, not outrage because "when guys do it, they get way more coverage and punishment."

It's our own fault.
