'drama' up to and including violence, for some.

i have friends who say they don't trust a relationship where there's no drama - they don't stand for violence (they claim) but if there's no shouting and mad feelings at least every once in a while they're looking at the front door. i assume it's b/c they've been abused (probably by parents) and don't understand how to love or be loved w/o abuse.
