like a year or so. Crazy that they fight at that level and even felt comfortable enough to fight like that in front of other people. Hopefully they'll get some counseling to figure out if they really need to be getting married and/or where the anger issues are coming from.

I heard Holdsclaw in a panel discussion a few years ago and she said that as she worked through her issues with a therapist after her DV situation they discovered that she was bi-polar.

I have lez friends who've been in domestic violence situations and it always shocks me but i have heard its pretty common and totally underreported. I'm really fortunate to have never gotten into a relationship that went that way.
