those smaller dealers are crooks when it comes to warranties. also if ur buying used truecar and or having carfox is the way.....if ur going to a certified dealer HASVE THE ONLINE PRICE WITH YOU. they will swindle you for a higher price onsite.

my rule of thumb:

American tends to have repair issues along its life but are built like a tank. so they are good for accidents.

Japanese cars are built like tinker toys but will go to the moon and back on mileage.

German is the best of both worlds but will cost you are replacing parts.


I have a Nissan Altima which I like. also, California definitely is big on the electric car thing so I imagine pricing is different.
