12758065, I'm basically soap-free above the neck Posted by John Forte, Sat Mar-21-15 09:25 AM
I wash my face with water and my hair with conditioner now. My kin and hair are better than they've been in years. DO we really need all those detergents on delicate body parts that don't carry smells?
|
12758068, I'd go for sensitve wash, as opposed to no wash - but do you. Posted by spades, Sat Mar-21-15 09:28 AM
If it's working, then work it.

12758187, He didnt say no wash though. Posted by ConcreteCharlie, Sat Mar-21-15 01:10 PM
I use a cold cream cleanser, personally.
Soap dries your shit out.

12758275, Ewwwww.... Please tell me you like facials (mask and scrub) Posted by Kira, Sat Mar-21-15 04:17 PM
You need a facial mask to keep your skin right. It takes all of the dirt away. At least tell us you use facial scrubs.
|
12758280, Same here. Posted by Jon, Sat Mar-21-15 04:36 PM
All it does is dry out my face and make it feel all stiff and gross. My face is clean as a whistle without it.

12758287, charcoal soap its pretty good Posted by neuro_OSX, Sat Mar-21-15 04:55 PM
I use it for my face, seems pretty mild. Look out for added fragrance which may cause skin irritation.

12758305, you need to scrub off the dead cells once in a while Posted by dafriquan, Sat Mar-21-15 06:18 PM
also the city air is pretty dirty i don't think water alone can get rid of the micro w/e embedded in your school.

My face been glowing, bro.
I also throw an ACV/water toner on every now and then. Also use ACV in the hair sometimes.

12758680, Interesting, someone at work said that she washes her face w/ oil Posted by Goldmind, Sun Mar-22-15 10:12 PM
Does that really work? I imagine it resulting in a hot, oily mess. To be followed by breakouts.

12758889, I've had acne for years, and it works for me Posted by snacks, Mon Mar-23-15 08:42 AM
I was scared to pull the trigger for a while, because historically my face would go back to square one if I switched products, and my former product worked well for several years.
At any rate, I bought some organic EVOO and castor oil, threw a little jojoba in the mix, and three months in, it's been great. The weirdest part is putting it on because it feels so thick, but it's not as oily as you'd think otherwise.

taking a towel, saturating in hot water, wringing it out and steaming your face.

My skin is really sensitive and every product I tried irritated my face, until I started just using really hot water and a washcloth.
