The walls from old cliques came crumbling down... we reminisced.... we made empty promises to totally hang out again in a week... and then the walls came back up and we returned to our regular lives.

I had one old classmate try to kindle a friendship... I was genuinely happy to see him thriving because he seemed like he could've easily gone the wrong way but we weren't tight in high school and I soon realized I really wasn't trying to build a friendship with him now.
