I think she'd have killed it.
Melancholy mood? Check.
Failed relationship subject matter? Check.
Soulful pop melody? Check.
Ideally, I'd have wanted to hear Amy's cover produced more closer to Sheryl's version (rock aesthetic/electric guitar) than Amy's traditional 60's sound. Only 'cause I've wanted to hear Amy outside of her traditional element and thought she'd be dope over a grungier rock sound. Even an acoustic cover with just electric guitar.
