^^ do i agree that 'Hollywood' suffers from social form of dysmorphia?

i'm not sure what a 'social form of dysmorphia' is. what do you mean by that?

>no need to lawyer this shit up fam

i don't know what that means either.

>we know he's gone under the knife...

says who?

>we know practically everyone in their family has...

possibly. i dunno.

>we know these things...

for the sake of argument let's say we know these rumors and gossip and innuendo are true though no actual proof of said has been seen.

>we know hollywood culture in general has an obsession with
>plastic surgery...

okay, sure.

>now whether or not this actually means they should or have
>been diagnosed with dysmorphia is pretty much semantics

not really. but let's assume arguendo that it's correct.

oops...arguendo is me lawyering, isn't it? i meant assume for the sake of this discussion.

>i'm moreso focused on how or if it could be related to his
>alleged dysmorphia

we don't know that he is dealing w/dysmorphia. at least i don't.

>not seeing where i'm diagnosing for lulz...i don't think it's
>a lol matter...i think it's a bid deal...but i don't think it
>takes a psychotherapist to say...hey...there are some serious
>body image issues in hollywood and especially in that family

well, i mean, there are ppl who study these issues in school and receive advanced degrees and are regulated by the various states who license them and they generally are the ones who offer such a diagnosis. and since you agree this discussion isn't about lulz and is about a 'big deal' i think it's important that we avoid throwing around actual terms of art w/in psychiatry in an effort to throw shade.
