it's taboo here so no real way to gauge how popular it really is
but the argument is more about allowing ppl to be themselves as long as no one is hurt*
as opposed to equating it with homosexuality/transgenderism
the slippery slope is letting ppl do whatever they want in the pursuit of happiness
*some of the laws specify that the animal has to do the penetration to prevent injuries etc
