what's your basis for saying this?
b/c it's fairly common for transmen and women to live a complete adult life in disguise as a cisperson only to come out as trans late in life after having married and raised kids. why? b/c the trans revolution is in its infancy. their movement is moving s-l-o-w-l-y. most of them are still closeted. most don't know that the issues with which they struggled have been figured out by medical science, including psychiatry. and s-l-o-w-l-y our society is being pushed toward acceptance/understanding of trans issues. but this is all new.
