I acknowledged this and said it's a by-product of white supremacy. Sometimes, you
have to do the knowledge and understand WHY these things happen. Might you sometimes
have to go outta your way to let folks know you don't think you better than them? Yeah.
It happens. But your high yella ass can't walk in the room thinking everybody trusts
you the same, lookin like a house nigga. It just ain't reality as it pertains to American
history.
And I say this as a Brother who gets called light a lot.
It's doubly the case for women with the whole light skin supremacy thing.
