12691339, Anybody got a Uniqlo ultra light down parka? Posted by John Forte, Tue Jan-06-15 04:55 PM
How do they fit? Size up?

12691458, i have seen those, i would consider a size up Posted by ConcreteCharlie, Tue Jan-06-15 07:35 PM
like if you are a firm L, stay with L, but if you're ever between L and XL, go with XL (just using those size as examples).
looking at them they seemed a little snug in the chest/shoulders and not too long to go up a size. looking now at the sizing chart, yes, an XL is a 47" chest, not 48" as it would be in standard sizing or 49/50 like it would be in something generous.
they seem kind of cool, like a wintery version those mizuno running jackets that fit in your pocket but are waterproof and warm.

12691465, I got this joint right here. It's cut pretty slim Posted by PimpTrickGangstaClik, Tue Jan-06-15 07:44 PM

I'm 5'10, 155 and rolled with the small. The armpits are mad tight. Don't know if it's the same for the down

12691467, i sized up Posted by Crash Bandacoot, Tue Jan-06-15 07:46 PM
just so i would have enough room for sweaters and such. i like it...very light, comfortable, and compact but, feathers are everywhere.

They're way cheaper than a lot of other thin ultra down jackets (EMS, etc.) which to me is a red flag, or just means that they're good in late Fall, but that you'd be in bad shape come January (assuming NY).

12691493, i'm a believer Posted by teefiveten, Tue Jan-06-15 08:42 PM
i bought the parka one and i asked the cashier like 'you sure this works?' she told me as long as i wear a sweater i'm good (like wtf was i going to do? go topless?)
it keeps me very warm. i want to get a short one or a vest to wear under a lighter jacket

12691532, ridiculously warm...ugh. Posted by R A i n, Tue Jan-06-15 09:57 PM

12691524, I got something similar from them Posted by MEAT, Tue Jan-06-15 09:47 PM
Not the bubble parka but just a regular one. I'm about 5'8 180, it's medium and fits better than the large hoodie I haave from them. I also have a slim wool blazer from them and it's a medium that fits well also.
