12687819, well contemporary music is corny as fuck, so ... Posted by ConcreteCharlie, Wed Dec-31-14 11:21 AM
i mean you couldnt see him stepping in for pit bull or weezy on some of these bullshit ass pop tracks? easily. he needs to remake his image, the whole thug thing won't pop right now. that's about it. his lyrics are largely retarded, which means they are suitable for the global lowest common denominator audience.
i actually thought his first record was OK. the shit with jay and dmx on it was cool, race against time or whatever that track was. i dunno it had 3-4 good songs on it plus the big single which was aight. he can never going back to doing that type of shit again though.

12687735, he should've stayed in his lane instead of listening to 50 Posted by gumz, Wed Dec-31-14 10:13 AM
he would've had a couple more years on the charts at least.

i'd be all the way in.
he performed when i was in Iraq. i don't know if he got paid for it, or if it was strictly "support the troops" charity.
but as much as i hated on his pop-rap at the time, i realized i loved those songs when he performed them, and also noticed i knew most of the words.
come on, 00's nostalgia! I graduated from HU in 2004, I'm all for it.

Yeah, I can see him being a host of something.
He's all religious now so it could even be something along those lines.

12687896, 50 missed pay dirt trying to do ja-rule'a schitk. Posted by Joe Corn Mo, Wed Dec-31-14 12:13 PM
nobody that would like a ja-rule comeback would be concerned about how 50 destroyed him back then, so he could stage a comeback with the right reality show and the right single.
he might be able to do it easier than 50, because ja-rule never had "credibility" to lose.
50 would look ridiculous reigniting his beef w/ ja rule, so if 50 was smart, he'd leave that idea alone if ja makes it back into the spotlight.

That's the problem. We saw the ice bucket videos right?
