I'm just gonna put this here. I went out with a guy briefly who was divorced with 2 kids. He'd been divorced for years and had (as told to me) a fairly organised coparenting situation. We start dating....there was always the logistics of its my weekend with the kids etc. but again it was organised and consistent.

Right up until one weekend he said he was tied up with the kids cause his ex needed to switch weekends last minute. No harm no foul...see you when I see you.

Until I ran into him that same night out on a date.

We weren't exclusive and we're grown. I don't care if you are seeing someone else but don't lie and use your kids as a get out of dates pass.

It was a wrap after that. He apologized but I could not take him seriously after that and it was a slight shame because we had gone as far as meeting friends, introduced to the kids and the ex (who I liked).
