think you're lying about being with your kids all the time. Like you realize the kid(s) live here and that means they're gonna be with me the majority of the time. Single folks also fail to realize that those moments when we are childless, that it's such a rarity that we often don't want to do ANYTHING--and if we do something it's usually clean up the house for their (the kids) eventual return.

When I was in the dating scene, I often didn't want to (go out) because I'd rather spend the $100+ that would be used on a date on my child. Why spend $100 on a meal and movie when my son and I could spend 1/2 of that and have the weekend of our lives while using the other $50 on necessities such as a new coat or school uniform pants.
