based on popular culture/radio, the vast majority of black people DON'T seem to care about this. but your larger point stands, yeah.
if black people as a whole cared about holding the radio accountable for its depiction of the black experience, pop music wouldn't be what it is today.
but that's another post for another bitter old man.
