do you feel the effeminate "queen" stereotype is exaggerated in the media (either deliberately or inadvertantly) as a means of portraying gay men as somehow less of a man?
in other words, do you think that most gay TV and movie characters are/were portrayed as overly effeminate for some express purpose?
