But he at least had some rhythm early in his career. He knew how to ride a beat, how to craft a hook and make a song flow.

Now it's like he doesn't even know the beat/song is there. Just stacks multis on multis on multis.

I don't think it's a coincidence that he lost his rhythm right around the same time Dre's music/beats started becoming less funky and more ... abrasive/soulless. They've obviously always been super close personally and professionally and I'd have to imagine Dre's mentorship and influence over Em creates some synchronicity w/the way they approach their art individually.
