...cops. Dudes with training, equipment and experience. Someone that already knows how to use a firearm, and can read the students' body language to try and spot threats. People that risk their lives every day to keep us safe.
Also, if there was some sort of reporting and warning system in place that could alert the authorities to possible threats against a school well ahead of time.
