Was telling some of my friends about the album coming out and said "I'm excited cause Phonte raps better than like 97% of MCs who ever have."
He's so good because he makes it so effortless. He does the "laid back vibe" thing better than anyone ever has, IMO. Snoop is comparable in terms of laid back flow but doesn't have the lyrics to match Phonte's.
Dude is something else. It's a treat to hear him on the MC tip again.
