Dems in this country - almost by definition - are not authoritarian. (You ever notice the knock against them is they never band together and there are too many factions?)

The sad fact is this country has 33% people who will ALWAYS, ALWAYS fall for Trump's bullshit. They did it with the moron Bush Jr.

All it takes to win during an election year is they have to fool 16% to $17% of voters.

The last TWO of the three times since 2000 they haven't done it - but with help (voter suppression, help from foreign nations, help from the nearly completely fact free conservative press) they were able to win via the electoral college - and not with the popular vote.

The real solution is increase people's IQs - something the Republicans have been actively trying to prevent for 40 years with school budget bullshit, textbook bullshit, and a war on "the elites."
