I grate up some citrus (a lime, a lemon amd an orang/tangerine) peels, add a little water and a lot of powdered sugar. hit the mixture with an egg beater for about half a minute, and after your cake cools..poke holes in it with a toothpick and pour the sauce on it.
My wife don't eem like 'thick cakes like that' but she said it go hard.
