it is if *this* iteration of the republican party
should even consider itself the conservative party
given that it goes against most of the (founding) principles of the republican party (its gotten worse since bush)
e.g.
individual liberty and responsibility
tolerance and inclusiveness
sound economic policy (call it fiscal conservatism if you want) and limited government
the constitution (nowadays this only applies to second amend not church and state)

so... the question here is not about conservative principles
(there are conservatives worldwide who are disgusted by the republican party as well)
its about palin/cruz/trump and the current repub party and what it stands for
and whether or not you agree with this.
