It should be 16 episodes.

Also, I also think the show should have begun its first season about 6 or 8 episodes before Winter Solider. Cause all of the first half of season was basically filler (and worthless) until the events of Winter Soldier up ended the universe and forced the show to move with some urgency and actually became interesting again.

Right now, I wonder if the events of Age of Ultron are going to have any any affect on the show. It would be nice though.
