This sucks. Not only because of what happened but because we ALL knew that this is what was gonna happen from the moment they encountered each other. I hoped it wouldn't but all the evidence showed that this shit would happen. Even the ending 'revelation' was something we all saw coming. The only good thing to come out of this chapter (going off the spoilers) is the relationship with Orochimaru.

Bad writing Kishimoto, you could've done better. You could've come up with something much better.
