Batman is a supreme strategist and a TRAINED NINJA ASSASSIN who has beaten damn near the entire DC universe fist to fist. That all doesn't get negated by a dude with super-hearing (which seems to by the entirety of the pro-DD argument). Batman uses all his "issues" to make stronger, wheras all of Daredevil's issue make him weaker. Like I said, this is a guy who often gets housed by street punks.

Hand-to-hand, in a cage, straight scrap, Bruce handles Matt easily.

Unless you lobotomize Bruce before the match (assuming he doesn't have a contingency plan for that), Murdock doesn't really stand a chance. Because take away the Batmobile, the Batplanes, the Batarangs, etc., Bruce still has his greatest weapon- the Batshit crazy mind that came up with all that stuff. Meanwhile Daredevil has come up with what? A cane that turns into... well, a cane, basically. Shows you the level of tactical ability he's working with.

And I think where Hood is coming from is that the tech is an extension of Batman's intellect, which DD can't really match on his best day. And since Batman and DD are both pretty well verse in hand-to-hand combat, it stands to reason that the winner would be the guy who out-thinks his opponent.

But since you're willfully ignoring that, I'd argue that while DD might have more intense, specialized training than Batman, Batman has still had more training overall in several different disciplines. They're both ninjas, but Batman is about a dozen other things as well.

Green Arrow stole on Bats when his mind was addled by Envy. Karate Kid stole on Bats hand to hand when his mind was addled by Starro (from memory).

The mental argument doesn't fly, and again shows that even Bat's fans don't trust in his actual fighting abilities very much. The quickness with which erroneous elements came into the scenario is telling.

And like you could get inside DD's head in a cage match. You can shake DD when he actually has something on the line. But just straight out fisticuffs? Nah.

Nobody is ignoring that (okay, maybe someone, I haven't read everything in here) but you need to also attack the fools that keep bringing non-hand-to-hand shit into the equation.

The point isn't that since he has a special gun that can "kill" Darkseid, he can beat DD hand-to-hand. The point is that since he can out-plan/out-maneuver Darkseid, while being a extremely highly trained/extremely highly skilled ninja assassin, and the combination of the two is why he beats DD no sweat. If he can out-think and out-plan the best and the brightest, and kick supreme ass as well, devising a way to beat Daredevil aka the whiniest man in the world ((c) Mr. Izo) in hand-to-hand isn't exactly rocket science.

Daredevil strengths: He is more agile and faster then Batman. Highly trained in martial arts, has beat some of the world's top assassins multiple times (and lost too)

Weakness: Being that all his senses are super-human anybody that has the means to can render him incoherent and easy to attack.

Batman strengths: Is much stronger then DD physically. Not as fast or agile but he doesnt need to. His suit is on walking tank status. Martial arts expert. Sitting on a billion dollars worth of tech just on the belt alone. Much much much smarter then DD.

Batman has about 10 things on his belt that would give DD a really bad day. The only way this fight goes in DD if he beats Bats in the first 5 minutes and its pitch black (or dark). Once Batman figures out Matt's weakness its over. DD has no choice to run away (which he can do) or get his ass kicked by Batman (which he will)

The Punisher beat DareDevil once. This was during Garth Ennis run so you know its not bullshit (is Ennis still doing Punisher by the way?)
The Punisher has no business beating DD on a regular day but he managed to beat him using prep time. Now if PUNISHER can beat DD with prep time, then you know Batman would destroy him with prep time.

Certain artists even make it a point to draw Bats as having a more svelte frame to highlight the agility aspects of his crime-fighting style.

Batman is no slouch but lets look at some obvious facts here.

DD fighting style relies on him being more acrobatic. He is carrying less weight around as well. Batman who is no slouch in his own right is running around in an armor suit. Also you have to agree that most of Batman's rogues gallery does not have the fighting ability of DareDevil.
