And I was all kinds of dubious when I saw the teaser for this last year in front of Up

But they delivered once again

Very clever, quite funny, thoroughly emotional and engaging

And yeah, I teared up when Andy showed up at the girl's house and started playing with her

I loved the new additions, and agree that the porcupine got short shrift (but the phone was gold), but there were a lot of characters to service so that was expected. And I also the use of the cuddly bear as the heel was inspired (and Ned Beatty put it down with the voice), as was the notion to turn the story into a prison movie... really solid and creative.

This is why I go to the movies, ladies and gentlemen. Another winner.
