seriously. i said if Ryan Gosling wasn't nominated, the Oscar's would again lose credibility.
Now, i understand he probably wont win, and i accept that to the great Peter O' Toole. i for one am fine with the academy giving "pity" (for lack of better words) awards to long overdue actors. i mean, the Oscar's dont have that much credibility to begin with, so what do i care if a long-overdue gets his/her due? im cool with that.
that said, if Marty does NOT win, then, i will be the first to cry "The Oscar's have lost all credibility!!!" that night.
its cute that Abigail was nom'd. woulda like to see Paul Dano get one too. Surprised of all the Departed actors that coulda got nom'd, Dignam got it. im not mad, just surprised. Damon was on-spot. and Jack is an Oscar darling.
