This was a crowded year for quality films. Yes, it was, gang. Yes, it was.
The wealth was spread around...
This is perhaps Marty's best chance to win Best Director... even though the Academy loves Clint to death... and I figured Paul Greengrass would get a nomination... powerful stuff... it would have been nice to see Dayton/Faris (LMS) get a nomination...
Of the Best Picture nominees, it's tough to take one of those out and sub it with Dreamgirls... yeah, LMS haters, I suppose you could take it out... it may come down once again to Marty vs. Clint... and I wouldn't be surprised if Clint walked off with Best Picture again...
