a mediocre film with a few standout performances that gets a huge marketing push and somehow finds itself on top of the heap come oscar night.
as for when the levees broke, i don't think it's eligible since it wasn't released in theatres (and really couldn't have been at 4+ hours). besides, inconvenient truth is a lock in the documentary category.
