And I agree with your point about how Ramona never really develops in the film. The way her character is treated in the film, you are left wondering why she and Scott would even want to be with each other.

In the books, it makes sense why the two of them should be together, but that isn't conveyed in the film very well. Movie Scott makes more sense to be with Knives.
