that freedom of the mind is important to have first? I think it is...if your mind/spirit are free, you're naturally going to work towards those other (social, political, etc) freedoms you desire.

personally, though, I think we can't get it together because we keep getting hung up on the means & forget to consider the ends. Who cares if we get there being (for example) Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, whatever...as long as we get there.
