On one hand, Kings haven't been a great home team and special teams trends can reverse quickly.

On the other, there is a real disjuncture with Vancouver, power play went from bad to worse, no Daniel and they have to think about a goalie change just to shake up the team. that should not be. they are a veteran team and luongo has played pretty well (very well in game 1, adequately at least in game 2).

I dunno, last year they pushed themselves up against the wall in the first round, too, and they trailed the year before. Still, there was never a heir of panic about them. You can see the concern and frustration on guys' faces now.

And, of course, the Kings are playing well. Quick had an even better game than his numbers suggested, PK is playing its part on the Canucks' struggles (and scoring tonight, too) and they're probably going to have at least one scoring line going strong every night.
