So, after next season, considering howard isn't sign by then, lakers salaries will be at 78 mil. Howard will command around 20-25 mil a year, so the lakers' cap will go back up to around100 mil, with no youth in sight until 2014/2015, where howard will be approaching the 30 year old mark with a back issue.
