I wish you were correct in your doomsday scenario but unfortunately you're not.
You don't have to like the Lakers (lord knows I don't, mostly because of Kobe but also now Dwight) but people should respect their gangster by now. They didn't get here being stupid & Cuban is a fly on the wall to them.
Dallas has zero to offer Dwight Howard in free agency: less money, lesser roster, inferior city, less marketing opportunities, etc.
Cuban crapped out on this one.
