Dwight Howard was introduced at a press conference in Los Angeles on Friday night.
Dwight genuinely looked happy during the press conference and tried to have a good time by doing an impression of Kobe Bryant. The 26-year-old center shared that there's no timetable for his return and his health is "good." He also mentioned that it was up to the doctors to decide on his eventual return. Howard did not address the possibility of a contract extension and he ended his conference in appropriate fashion by saying, "thank you guys for putting up with me. It’s going to be better." But as for when Howard will be healthy enough to play after back surgery, at this point Christmas Day seems like a reasonable target date.
