66443, the word out of Green Bay was he's done as a cold weather QB Posted by natlawdp, Wed Aug-19-09 12:38 PM

factor in age and health, and i think his recent history points toward a late season drop-off in production

Vikes at Chicago and Green Bay were already notable games- adding Favre certainly pumps up AT LEAST the atmosphere for those games, just like he did in the AFC during '08; 'cept this time its against players he was either torching for YEARS or a staff that knows him pretty well.

Cutler is too much of a gamble in terms of cost, and Sage is too much of a gamble in terms of talent, so the solution is Favre for one year coming off injury and skipping training camp? i guess it truly boils down to me being skeptical of his ability to hold up, thus reducing his talent level advantage. and i do think it's going to take at least a month for him to get in sync with his receivers. and finally, management is either forcing this on childress or their all lunchin'.
