now i realize your post has an eastern conference bias becasue the east all stars deal with more incompitence than werstern conf gm (except maybe the sonics) but Dirks situation is no better than Duncans, Gasols, Ameres, Brands, and Mellos... yet Dallas made it to the finals.

Im not sayin he is better than those players either but he is on the same level.
