Sheffield had a pretty good series against Minnesota that year too, but it was the 5 game set where the Twins took Game 1 in NY and then just barely lost game 2 and game 4. I realize nobody cares about the ALDS. but there's no way the Yankees go on to face the Red Sox that year if Arod doesn't go apeshit against what was the best staff in the AL that year.
