You just played yourself. Now while you are entitled to your opinion that doesn't make a person with a different opinion less 'smart.'
Personally I was really disappointed by Magnolia, I was looking forward to seeing it but honestly its a good bad movie. I'm sorry but I thought it was a wanna-be-different movie that was trite from start to finish. The characters to me were all to easy and so manufactured. Sorry no depth. And as for biblical references...money please..having frogs drop from the sky don't impress me...that shit is just straight hackeneyed symbolism for the sake of symbolic material. Sorry. I was deeply disappointed. I expected a lot more...
