Buffet just announced the cancellation of the annual Berkshire shareholders conference, an event that generated about 5% of our restaurant's total income over just four days last year. 5% is one of those numbers that doesn't sound so significant (sort of like, oh I don't know, 3.2%...) until you consider the sample size. That's roughly .01% of our total time in operation throughout the year; in other words, it pays the goddamn rent.

I really like my job and have no idea what I'd do if it were to fall into serious jeopardy.
