Part of their point is he paid them to attack him like that’s part of their evidence but outside of a confession they don’t have proof that $3,500 wasn’t actually truly for training and thus evidence wouldn’t be as strong

But yes either way he’s lying saying it was white men when clearly they weren’t that doesn’t help neither does how would they know exactly when he went out at 2am if he didn’t tip them off?
