The Fallon angle, that it. It would be like blaming Zuckerberg for what gets posted on Facebook, or blaming the Twitter founders for all of the ratchet-ness there.
My theory is that shit costs quite a few $$$ for the hosting & bandwidth, and taking things down a notch (less posters, less posts, less bandwidth) is good for the bottom line.
