I agree that this doesn't warrant a federal case, but there's a discussion worth having. Some women would argue that calling each other "bitch" is a term of endearment and a way of 'taking power' of the word away from men. That doesn't mean that it's socially acceptable to randomly call women "bitch" all willy nilly, does it?
