AFAIK.
i agree that one of the problems here may have been a lack of familiarity w/the process. but that's me assuming Steve is unfamiliar w/pageant hosting at least as related to announcing the winner. maybe he is familiar and just made a mistake.
either way - i don't see any problem w/the process here. this is on Steve and he seems to be owning it based on a report from a friend about an interview he gave this morning.
