all i'm saying is that martin was groomed his career as a Black comic primarily for Black audiences (what's happening now?!, def comedy jam, martin, big momma's house). while chappelle has primarily tailored his career as a Black comic for white folks.

just look @ the trajectories of their stardom. and like binlahab said most Black folks didn't REALLY know about chappelle til the rick james skit...and that was last year.
