Her label was not responsible for Gaga blowing up....They were not even putting money into that album...But when they saw the following she was getting on the gay club circuit and the fact that influential folks like Perez Hilton were bigging her up on a daily, they smartly re-worked the album...
From what I gather, it was Ga Ga's persistence and her own willingness to cultivate a cult following through endless club dates that made Interscope take notice....
