I got kind of a weak exotic, one of those auto rifles that spins up as you fire. I was a hand cannon / scout rifle guy for basically the entire run of Destiny so I wish I could have had one of those for my big bad.

If I hadn't read up on some more experienced players' impressions I'd have figured my timing was just off, but man did it feel weird not having my fist, grenade and super charge timing down. The timing on all of it just felt weird, I was hitting the grenade button basically on memory two or three times before I could actually fire one off.

On the plus side - man, Destiny still feels good, and I like a lot of the changes they made to the enemies they're recycling. Particularly the Phalanx and Psion, the former because its shield was too annoying before and the latter because their new attacks make them legit threats in a crisis.

The strike was a lot of fun, especially the latter third. So much chaos, I haven't felt challenged like that from Destiny in a long time other than my ill-advised forays into being a tourist on raids.
