holy shit. durante for president
i'm running a fairly old (in terms of graphics cards) gtx 660ti and i'm maintaining a solid 30 frames/second while downsampling from 3840x2160 to 1080p via durante's gedosato tool. the game now looks like this AT ALL TIMES:
and my card ain't shit. there are screens out there of people running the game at up to 9 times native resolution on their newer cards and it looks absolutely stunning:
this is a testament to how incredible square's final fantasy assets are. xii scales up so well on ps2 emulation that it looks like a 1st year ps3 game. xiii nearly looks like it's in the current generation when it's heavily downsampled
this also makes me want a new graphics card. i may pick one up in lieu of a new console early next year...
